CBRE GWS and CBRE GWS TECHNICAL DIVISION's fleet was among the first in Italy to adopt the DKV BOX ITALIA FLEET tolling solution, DKV Mobility's new on-board unit for vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Head of Procurement and Fleet manager Marco Di Cesare tells us about his experience with the new box and the benefits he has gained from using it.

Newsroom: Mr. Di Cesare, tell us about your role and your fleet.

I currently hold the role of Head of Procurement and Fleet Manager for the company CBRE Global Workplace Solutions Italy, which deals with targeted solutions for all kinds of technical services for maintenance and design of company facilities. This is precisely why it is essential for us to have a widespread presence throughout Italy, and we do this thanks to our large fleet of vehicles, which now numbers about 500 vehicles.

Newsroom: How long have you been using DKV Mobility's services?

We started cooperating with DKV Mobility just this year, when we started using DKV Card and DKV Card +CHARGE fuel cards last spring. After the positive experience with these products, we decided to also try the new DKV BOX ITALIA FLEET toll box, as we are a multinational company that only operates locally in Italy, and such a solution was what best met our needs. We started with a test period, and seeing the excellent feedback from our salespeople, we then extended to the whole fleet. Currently 50% of the fleet is equipped with such a device, and 30 of them are using DKV BOX ITALIA FLEET.

Newsrom: What benefits are you seeing from DKV Mobility products?

Right from the start we have been benefiting from the digital services offered by DKV Mobility, they have greatly improved fleet management in a short time. What we appreciated most was the ability to use the DKV LIVE digital assistant, to manage remote data downloads. This tool allowed us to have data in digital format in a usable way, to be able to download data and import it into our fleet management tool. In fact, we set up the system so that DKV LIVE would automatically transfer and store driver and fleet data, regardless of their location.

In addition, having the DKV Analytics tool available in our customer area allowed us to have full control over costs 24 hours a day, to control in time the processes of refueling, recharging, tolling, as well as the CO2 emissions of our cars. Not only that, in the learning and familiarization phase with these new tools, we benefited from attentive and qualified customer care, which accompanied us step by step through the process of installation and implementation of the devices. In DKV Mobility I have found the perfect ally in my daily work as a fleet manager because it has made it easier for me to manage the vehicles overall and has made my fleet even smarter.
