The French company AC Environnement, a specialist in real estate diagnostics with 435 vehicles, has changed its fuel card service provider for more financial profits. Here are the explanations by Marc Chavallard, Purchasing & Logistics Manager at AC Environnement.

"The fuel costs are significant: we were spending about 1 million euros. Therefore, in 2019, we proceeded to a cost analysis and sourcing, which led us to change the fuel card provider. Our employees had another fuel card via the rental companies. So we directly contacted different providers and in the end, chose DKV Mobility. At present, we have saved about 20% on fuel costs. It is difficult to say if it’s due to the health crisis or the cost reduction. But switching to DKV Mobility definitely helped.

Access to gas stations with the lower prices

First of all, we no longer work with rental companies that charge for administrative fees of the cards. In addition, the DKV card is less expensive while giving access to a wider network than others. Moreover, employees refuel in gas stations with the lower prices, such as E.Leclerc and Intermarché and we encourage them to do so. The DKV app downloaded on all employees' smartphones makes it easy to find the stations nearby and their prices. And employees really appreciate this change.

A very simple management

Management is very easy: we can order or cancel cards in one click and the DKV Mobility files are integrated directly into our fleet management software. We don't block refueling in weekends, but our software, thanks to the data collected from DKV Mobility, alerts us in case of anomalies. We check every month, but when in doubt or necessity, all transactions are available in real time on the DKV Mobility website.

It's useful to have everything on the same bill: fuel, washing and parking. We buy the toll badges from another operator, but we're considering switching to DKV Mobility. We are also thinking about the DKV +Charge card for electric and hybrid vehicles, as we are adding them to our fleet."
