eMobility: DKV doubles charging network to over 130k acceptance points
In the second half of 2020, the Ratingen-based company expanded its charging network in Germany, Austria, the Benelux countries, Italy, France, Nordics and several countries in Eastern Europe and thus consequently doubled their charging points again in 2020. The mobility service provider now offers up to and even over 90 percent charging network coverage in various countries, such as Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, Denmark, among others. All newly connected charging points are active and available.
“I am very proud that we have expanded our charging network to this extent and thus laid an important foundation stone for supplying our customers' e-fleets throughout Europe”, says a delighted Sven Mehringer, Managing Director Energy and Vehicle Services at DKV. “This dynamic growth shows that the topic of electromobility is developing at a rapid pace throughout Europe. Our ambition is to take the Lead in Green and to become the leading supplier of sustainable products in our industry.” During 2021, the DKV charging network is to be extended even more extensively.
