DKV Mobility, the leading European B2B platform for on-the-road payments and solutions, is driving forward the expansion of the acceptance network for its digital fuel card – the App&Go function within the DKV Mobility app. From now on, DKV Mobility customers can also authorize the purchase of their fuel conveniently from their car via App&Go at all 160 Classic fuel service stations in Germany.

"We are delighted to expand our existing partnership with Classic to now include digital services," says Sven Mehringer, Managing Director Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility. “With App&Go, our customers can save time, reduce errors, and enjoy a seamless and secure transaction.”

“With App&Go, we can add a modern and innovative function to our wide range of services," adds Volker Kretschmer, authorized signatory for fuel stations at Classic Tankstellen GmbH & Co. KG. "We share DKV Mobility's vision of providing high-quality and customer-oriented services that meet the changing needs of the mobility market."

The App&Go function is a digital fuel card that allows customers to settle their transactions without using a physical service card or cash. Customers simply open the DKV Mobility App, select the App&Go function, and follow the instructions on the screen. The app will automatically detect the location and the pump number of the customer and will display the price and the amount of fuel. After the refueling process is completed, the customer can confirm the transaction with a tap on the app. The app will then generate a digital receipt that can be viewed and downloaded anytime. The App&Go acceptance network already comprises around 8,000 fuel service stations in eleven countries: Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Spain, the Czech Republic and Hungary (as of 07/2024). Technically, the App&Go function is based on the Connected Fueling Platform of PACE Telematics GmbH from Karlsruhe, in which DKV Mobility has held a stake since 2020.
