For the first time, DKV Mobility, a leading European B2B platform for on-the-road payments and solutions, was accorded German Innovation Award 2022 by the German Design Council. Under the category “Excellence in Business to Business – Information Technologies | Functional Software”, DKV Mobility earned recognition for its digital reporting product, DKV Analytics. At an award event in Berlin yesterday, DKV Mobility was acknowledged for its outstanding innovation performance with the development of DKV Analytics – a digital tool that allows its customers to have full cost control and transparency as well as more efficiency in fleet management.

This is a significant affirmation that our strategic focus to continuously build a digital tool addressing our customers’ needs while increasing their user experience is the right approach,” said Till Kreiler, Chief Digital Officer at DKV Mobility. “We develop a broad spectrum of digital products and features for DKV Mobility’s key users of our customer portal, DKV COCKPIT, and our DKV Mobility App. DKV Analytics was developed after an extensive design process, based on substantial customer interviews and testing. Our customers can now analyze and export all their DKV Mobility related costs and post-compensate their CO2 emissions”.
Since its inception in 1953, the German Design Council serves as the world's leading competence center for communication and knowledge transfer in the fields of design, technology, brand and innovation. Its German Innovation Award honors innovative achievements that break new ground through their added value, with a special focus on user experience. The jury, made up of independent, interdisciplinary experts from the fields of technology, digitization, science, associations and institutions, evaluated the 640 submissions based on these criteria: innovation level, user benefits and economic viability. The German Innovation Award 2022 awards is divided into two areas: "Excellence in Business to Consumer" and "Excellence in Business to Business".
