Change at the helm of DKV Mobility: Sebastian Klauke appointed as new CEO
Change at the helm of DKV Mobility: Sebastian Klauke will become the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DKV Mobility as of 1 April 2025. He will take over as CEO from Marco van Kalleveen, who has decided to not extend his contract after six years as CEO. Until the handover, Marco van Kalleveen will continue to lead the company and ensure a smooth transition together with the management.
Jan Fischer, owner and Chairman of the Administrative Board of DKV Mobility, says: “I would like to thank Marco van Kalleveen for his great achievements and commitment to the company. During his time as CEO, he has been instrumental in fostering growth and the professionalisation of the company together with the management team of DKV Mobility. We can look back on tremendous progress: Not only have we grown significantly - both organically and through M&A - but we have also become a leader in EV charging and made further progress in digitalisation. We’ve also strengthened our position in the market overall and driven meaningful cultural change within the company. As successor, I am delighted that we have been able to recruit Sebastian Klauke, a highly experienced manager with extensive expertise in corporate strategy and digitalisation. He is the ideal match for a successful and seamless continuation of DKV Mobility's growth trajectory.”
Marco van Kalleveen, CEO of DKV Mobility, comments: “It has been a great honour to lead DKV Mobility through the past six years. We look back on a remarkable journey of growth as we continue to drive the transition towards an efficient and sustainable future of mobility. It is now a natural moment for me to pass on the torch to my successor and pursue new endeavours.”
Sebastian Klauke, Member of the Executive Board of Otto Group: “The development and current positioning of DKV Mobility is more than impressive and we surely have an exciting road ahead of us. I’m really looking forward to starting and working with the team.”
