Customers of DKV Mobility, the leading European B2B platform for On-the-Road payments and solutions, can now settle tolls in Slovakia for all vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons using the DKV Box Europe. Until now, settlement of the Slovakian toll was only possible via an individual solution from the Slovakian toll operator.

The DKV Box Europe is easy to install, configure and update via a mobile network interface. Moreover, customers who already have a DKV Box Europe can simply add and activate the toll settlement function for Slovakia online, without having to exchange the box. 

The Slovak toll system and the DKV Box Europe are compliant with the European Electronic Toll Service (EETS), which aims to provide users with access to the toll roads of Europe with just one contract and one device from an EETS provider.

"Many of our customers from the automotive logistics sector drive through Slovakia and use it as a central logistics hub with direct transport connections to neighboring countries and Southeast Europe. By using the DKV Box Europe for toll settlement, they can significantly reduce their administrative costs and work more efficiently. The DKV Box Europe thus covers a total of 17 toll domains in 14 European countries, including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia and Switzerland. The on-board unit also covers the following bridges and tunnels: the Warnow Crossing and Herren Tunnel in Germany, the Liefkenshoektunnel in Belgium, the Storebælt Bridge in Denmark and the Øresund Bridge in Sweden.
