Sustainable mobility: DKV Mobility expands LNG acceptance network to 300 stations

LNG

LNG (liquified natural gas) and Green LNG (liquified bio natural gas) are one of the most important alternatives to conventional fuels, as transport industry transitions towards climate-friendly. By using it, freight forwarders and logistics companies can reduce their CO2 emissions by up to 20 percent (LNG) and 90 percent (Green LNG), as compared to diesel. This is why leading European mobility services provider DKV Mobility is constantly pushing forward with the expansion of its LNG acceptance network and is now offering its customers access to over 300 LNG stations in ten countries - specifically in Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Spain, Poland, Sweden and Finland. With this, DKV Mobility continues to offer the largest brand-independent LNG acceptance network, covering more than two-thirds of all LNG stations in Europe.

"By reaching the 300 LNG station mark, we reach another important milestone to further drive the energy transition in our industry," says Sven Mehringer, Managing Director Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility. To meet the growing demand for alternative fuels, DKV Mobility is connecting 5,000 service stations a year, relying on multi-energy service stations that also offer alternative fuels such as LNG, CNG, LPG or hydrogen. Actively promoting the switch to alternative fuels is in line with DKV Mobility's Corporate Purpose: To drive the transition towards an efficient and sustainable future of mobility.
