Strategic partnership with Smartlab: DKV Mobility announces closing

DKV Mobility, a leading platform for international mobility services, has successfully completed the majority stake acquisition of smartlab Innovationsgesellschaft mbH (“Smartlab”). Smartlab operates one of the largest public charging networks in Germany, with more than 27,000 connected charge points. Founded in 2010, the company operates, among others, the platforms ladenetz.de and ladebusiness, which comprise an extensive cooperation network of over 275 municipal energy suppliers and more than 200 businesses from various industries.

DKV Mobility had signed a corresponding agreement with the shareholders of Smartlab in November 2024. After the regulatory approval was granted, the transaction has now been completed.
