E-Mobility: DKV Mobility cooperates with Qwello

charge

The European mobility service provider DKV Mobility is expanding its Europe-wide charging network for electric and hybrid vehicles by adding more than 400 charging points from the Munich-based charging point operator Qwello. DKV Mobility customers can use these charging points mainly located in the Frankfurt metropolitan area, in Munich and in Hamburg with immediate effect. Additionally, the connection of further Qwello charging points in Sweden (focus on Stockholm) has progressively started. With over 400 charging points available, Qwello Sweden is already a large provider of charging infrastructure in Stockholm. The Qwello charging network was connected via the cloud-based roaming platform of GreenFlux - a Dutch charging infrastructure software specialist acquired by DKV Mobility in June 2021. DKV Mobility's pan-European charging network currently covers over 200,000 charging points.

"Through our partnership with Qwello, we can now offer our customers access to an even more attractive charging network in Germany and Sweden," says Sven Mehringer, Managing Director Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility. "The Qwello charging points meet cutting-edge requirements in terms of functionality, user-friendliness and design and will add a valuable component to our supply network."

Dr. Henrik Thiele, founder and CEO of Qwello GmbH, added: "Qwello overcomes the inconveniences that electric vehicle owners face on a daily basis by simplifying their charging experience. All of our charging stations have both an integrated cable with a Type 2 plug and a Type 2 socket if a separate cable is to be used. By working with DKV Mobility, we are making our state-of-the-art charging stations available to an even wider range of customers."
