The European mobility service provider DKV Mobility is consistently expanding its mobile payment network. With the DKV APP&GO payment function of the DKV Mobility App, DKV Mobility customers can now pay for their refueling process via smartphone at all team petrol stations in Germany while standing at the petrol pump or sitting in the vehicle.

"By adding all team petrol stations to our network, our customers can already conveniently pay for refueling by using their smartphones at over 800 petrol stations throughout Germany and at around 1,400 in Europe."

The app is based on the Connected Fueling platform of PACE – a company based in Karlsruhe, in which DKV Mobility has held a stake since September 2020. The independent platform, which is open to all oil companies, POS system providers and OEMs, is intended to become the central technology for the digitization of the mineral oil industry in Europe. In addition to the consistent network expansion in Germany, APP&GO rollout will also continue abroad. Currently 1,400 fuel stations in six European countries are part of DKV Mobility’s mobile payment network.
