With Ash Downton taking over this position, DKV Mobility underlines its commitment to the fleet market, focusing on supporting fleet managers handling mixed fleets of electric vehicles (EV), hybrids, petrol, and diesel vehicles with a unified payment solution and a single invoice system for charging, refueling, tolls, and breakdown services across the UK and Europe.

In his new role, Ash Downton is poised to strengthen DKV Mobility's presence in the fleet market, with a particular focus on Southern England. Ash brings six years of experience at DKV Mobility, along with a comprehensive understanding of the sector. His primary goal is to develop new business opportunities and assist fleet managers in transitioning from diesel to more sustainable hybrid and electric vehicles (EV). This direction aligns with the increasing adoption of EVs in the UK, amongst others driven by ULEZ regulations and ESG reporting requirements.

DKV Mobility, with one of the largest networks of Charge Point Operators (CPOs) in the UK, and the most extensive acceptance network across Europe, offers a complete portfolio of services that go beyond fueling and EV-charging, to include tolls, breakdown support, car wash facilities, and VAT refunds. They are all managed through DKV Mobility’s efficient card and invoice system, which also features an innovative online portal. This portal allows fleet managers to track expenses in real time, ensuring transparency and control over fleet costs.
