Your Role:

• You will work as part of an agile development team with colleagues from Romania, Germany, and Ukraine to design, estimate, develop and implement software solutions that satisfy the business requirements around E-Mobility
• You will work closely with the team on a comprehensive Java-based product consisting of web micro front ends, back end APIs, and standalone microservices running on Azure Kubernetes.
• General and in-depth experience with Java concepts are a must, in addition to strong knowledge of relational databases, APIs, and front-end technologies. 
• You will be part of the Customer Product Services organization, which is focused on delivering high-quality software services for the DKV customers, which is reachable via ww(web).  

Responsibilities: 

•  Responsibility for the design and development of innovative, service-oriented software solutions based on Java and JavaScript 
• Independent creation of the technical solution design for cloud and hybrid architectures  
• Technical guidance of an interdisciplinary, agile development team as well as active participation in the implementation of the software solutions 
• Creation of integration concepts between interactive customer applications and backend systems 
• Cross-departmental collaboration with product managers and software architects 
• Technical release coordination 
• Design of prototype solutions (PoC), participation & contribution towards architecture best practices
•  Accompanying the software solutions throughout their life cycle and supporting other activities, such as creating and reviewing test cases, defining APIs and common service and information security requirements. 

Skills:

•  5+ years experience as a Java developer and software architect
• Good knowledge of common IT standards 
• DevOps mindset and agile software development with a hands-on mentality 
•  Knowledge of Kafka as streaming data technology or comparable event-driven systems 
•  Experience in building and deploying to Azure (or comparable cloud environments) 
• Strong communication, presentation skills both in terms of technology and management 
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or relevant field
