We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at DKV Mobility Romania.

As a key member of our agile development team, you will collaborate with professionals from Romania, Germany, and Ukraine to design, estimate, develop, and implement cutting-edge software solutions.

Your Role:

• Work collaboratively within an agile development team spread across multiple countries.
• Design, estimate, develop, and implement software solutions for a Java-based product on Azure cloud.
• Collaborate closely with the team on web front ends, back end APIs, and standalone microservices.
• Contribute to the Customer Product Services organization, focused on delivering high-quality software services for DKV customers.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and operate web applications for DKV products.
• Develop web frontends for Java applications and microservices in both application servers and cloud environments.
• Ensure applications are portable to various infrastructures, with a primary focus on cloud environments.
• Contribute to the conception and architecture using current Java, JavaScript, and cloud technologies.
• Work as part of a scrum team and contribute to the implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement deployment scripts for containerized environments.
• Support in creating end-to-end solution architectures.

Your Expertise:

• Several years of strong Java knowledge, including in-depth understanding of the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Proficient in creating REST APIs and microservices.
• Confident in working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience in writing automated unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools such as Loki and Grafana.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with Apache Kafka.
• Strong communicative and team-oriented personality.
• Structured approach, ability to keep an overview, set priorities, and be reliable.
• Problem-solving mindset with a customer-oriented focus.
• Quick on the uptake and able to break down complex issues into small work packages.
