List of key job responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the planning, development and operation of a 7 people team who develop web applications for the DKV refund product. In addition, the implementation of web frontends (Angular, jQuery, JSF, GWT), for Java web applications and microservices for application server and cloud environments is part of your area of responsibility
• Leadership and coaching skills to collaborate and develop technical talent in multicultural, global teams.
• Advocate a collaborative model by providing mentorship, knowledge sharing with the rest of the team and ensuring all team members are listen to as they may have more context in some areas.
• Assist with the definition and design of technical solutions, particularly those involving large or complex business and technical problems.
• You will work on concepts and architectures based on current Java, JavaScript and cloud technologies as well as on the further development of our software development processes.

Experience needed to do the job:

• Experience, at least, 3 years in leading a complex team
• Deep understanding and experience with various project management methodologies (GPM, agile) with cross-industry and lifecycle expertise in product development.
• Open-minded and willing to learn and continuously improve own skill
• You have a good knowledge of the Java ecosystem, Spring and Spring Boot are not foreign words.
• You are familiar with event-driven systems and know Apache Kafka very well. Safe handling of CI / CD pipelines, GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory and Sonarqube.
• Is a plus if,you already have good knowledge of the use of interface technologies (REST, SOAP) and experience in the implementation of complex projects.
• Working in teams using Agile process models (. SCRUM) is a matter of course, regular reflection and improvement of cooperation and processes is part of everyday life
