Can I apply for a card as a private individual?

Unfortunately, no. DKV services are offered exclusively to businesses, sole traders, and the public sector.

What services are covered by the DKV Fuel & Charge Card?

You can pay for all your vehicle-related services. Depending on your chosen tariff, this includes fuel, EV charging, tolls, lubricants, car washes, repairs, and more. Consumer goods like drinks, snacks, or cigarettes are not eligible.

Why do I need a fuel and charge card?

A fuel and charge card radically simplifies your bookkeeping. It eliminates the hassle of collecting and processing individual paper receipts. You receive a single, consolidated invoice that's ready for your accountant, streamlining your VAT reclaim process. In your online portal, you can monitor your entire fleet's cost trends, energy consumption, and transaction history – all clearly presented and downloadable at any time.

From what fleet size is a fuel and charge card worthwhile?

It's worth it from the very first vehicle, as it immediately ends the mountain of paperwork from fuel receipts. We have no minimum spend requirements, so you benefit whether you use the card frequently or just occasionally.

Who can apply for a fuel and charge card?

Any registered business or sole trader in the UK can apply.

How does billing work?

DKV Mobility sends you a consolidated invoice, for example, every two weeks, which lists all transactions by vehicle registration or driver. The total amount is then conveniently collected via Direct Debit, which can also help improve your business cash flow. You have 24/7 access to your online account to view transactions and manage your cards.

At which gas station can I pay with the DKV Card?

DKV has the largest supply network in the industry, with over 63,000 service stations across Europe. Brand-name service stations such as Shell, Aral and Total are part of this, but also low-cost and independent service stations. Can I set limits on my cards?

Yes. You can set, change, or block spending limits for any card instantly via your online account or by calling our 24/7 support hotline.

How secure is a fuel and charge card?

Every card is protected by a PIN that you can set. If a card is lost or stolen, you can block it immediately online or via our hotline. You can also add individual spending limits to each card for extra security.

Who is liable if a card is stolen?

As soon as you report the theft to us, you are protected from liability in accordance with our T&Cs. We will block the card instantly. Without the PIN, the card cannot be used.
