DKV Mobility is strengthening its market position on the Iberian Peninsula: Customers of the international mobility service provider can now use their DKV Card to refuel at the entire Shell-branded network in Spain. DKV Mobility has signed an agreement with Grupo DISA, the Shell brand licensee in Spain, for this purpose. This cooperation increases the number of stations in DKV Mobility's acceptance network by more than 270 on the Spanish mainland and the Balearic Islands. In addition to conventional and alternative fuels, these stations also offer services such as car washes. In addition, DKV Mobility has integrated around 50 further Shell stations to its acceptance network via independent licensees, with plans to connect additional stations in the future.
“The integration of the Shell network is an important milestone in our growth strategy on the Iberian Peninsula,” says Sven Mehringer, Managing Director Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility. “We are continuously expanding our offering in the region, thereby providing our customers with even greater flexibility and security of supply.”
DKV Mobility offers access to Europe's largest energy-independent acceptance network, which includes approximately 70,000 conventional fuel service stations (around 6,000 of which are in Spain), 938,000 charge points for electric vehicles (22,000 of which are in Spain) and 24,000 fuel service stations for alternative fuels (1,200 of which are in Spain).
