Toll information for Slovakia
In Slovakia tolls are charged on trucks and buses > 3.5 t of motorways, expressways and major roads altogether. The toll system is called MYTO and is based on a unique combination of satellite-based GPS and microwave technology.

You can pay the tolls via the operator Skytoll's on-board unit (OBU) using the pre- and post-pay method or directly via DKV Mobility's own toll solution DKV BOX EUROPE

Information on the CO2 Toll in Slovakia
The EU aims to reduce CO2 emissions in road traffic by 30% by 2030 (compared to 2005). Therefore, toll classification will be expanded to include CO2 classes.​
As of July 1, 2025, the COâ‚‚ toll rates in Slovakia apply to vehicles over 3.5 tons.
DKV Mobility supports you in determining the CO2 class for your vehicle. The CO2 Class Check determines the correct CO2 class based on your vehicle data (found in the Certificate of Conformity and vehicle registration document).​

Skytoll OBU
It is therefore possible to pay tolls in Slovakia using an OBU from Skytoll in both pre-pay and post-pay procedures.
The OBU can be obtained for a deposit of €50. This amount can only be paid in cash or by bank transfer. The deposit will be refunded upon proper return of the OBU. The deposit cannot be paid with the DKV CARD.
Tolls in Slovakia currently average 14 cents/km (excluding VAT), depending on the vehicle category, the EURO vehicle emission class and the number of vehicle axles. The toll charges are based on the vehicle category and type of road.
