DKV Mobility, a leading platform for international mobility services, is launching its digital fuel card App&Go in Switzerland. Effective immediately, DKV Mobility customers can authorize refueling transactions via the DKV Mobility App at 475 stations operated by energy company volenergy under the bp, Ruedi Rüssel and Miniprix brands. This brings the digital fuel card network to around 13,000 stations across 19 European countries. With its digital fueling solutions, DKV Mobility complements the traditional fuel card with a fully digital way to authorize refueling transactions. In doing so, the company is pursuing its strategy of digitalizing its customers’ core processes and bringing them together on a single platform. DKV Mobility is gradually expanding its digital acceptance network across further European markets.

Drivers start the refueling process in the app and authorize the transaction directly at the pump. There is no need to go to the checkout, reducing the time spent at the station. A dedicated filter in the app’s station finder shows which locations support the feature.

Sven Mehringer, Managing Director at DKV Mobility and responsible for Energy & Vehicle Services, says: “Today, a fuel stop should be as simple as everything else our customers do on their smartphones. With our digital solutions, there is no need to go to the checkout, giving drivers back valuable time in their daily routines. Making this possible in Switzerland for the first time marks another step in aligning our offering even more closely with our customers’ needs.”

The technological foundation for the digital fueling solutions is PACE Mobility’s Connected Fueling platform. The DKV Mobility subsidiary processes the authorization and handling of refueling transactions in real time and directly connects the station operators’ point-of-sale systems.
