DKV Mobility integrates TIMOCOM freight exchange into its transport management software

DKV Mobility, a leading platform for international mobility services, and freight tech company TIMOCOM are working together to link transport management and digital freight matching more closely. Since September 1, the TIMOCOM freight exchange has been integrated directly into the DKV Transport Management Software (DKV TMS). DKV TMS users can now search for and post freight and vehicle space offers straight from the application they already use, without switching systems. For DKV Mobility, integrating digital freight matching is an important building block on the way to becoming an open mobility platform. Bringing partner companies onto the platform and expanding the digital product portfolio are core elements of the growth strategy and are intended to make the platform even more attractive to customers.

More than 58,000 verified companies connect through the TIMOCOM Road Freight Marketplace, posting up to 1 million international freight and vehicle space offers there every day. For transport and logistics operators, matching loads and available capacity quickly is essential to improve vehicle utilization and reduce empty runs. Digital marketplaces provide the connections this requires between shippers, freight forwarders, and carriers across Europe.

With this cooperation, DKV Mobility continues to build out its digital product portfolio and its open platform strategy. The DKV TMS was launched in 2025 and is fully integrated into the DKV Cockpit customer portal, so no additional IT infrastructure is required. It complements digital offerings such as the DKV Carbon Monitor for recording fleet emissions and the DKV Fleet Management Software, which allows operators to manage their fleet, vehicle data, and running costs centrally.

For TIMOCOM, the cooperation is a further step toward connecting the Road Freight Marketplace more closely with the digital processes of transport and logistics companies. By integrating external systems, users can access core marketplace functions without leaving their familiar working environment.
