DKV Mobility expands home and workplace charging solutions to Switzerland and Italy
component-class__career-news-container-text
DKV Mobility, a leading platform for international mobility services, is further expanding its charging portfolio across Europe. The company is now offering its home (@home) and workplace (@work) charging solutions in Switzerland and Italy. Fleet customers in both markets can for the first time access all three charging options from a single source, complementing its already established public charging network (@road) at around 1.2 million charge points via the DKV Card +Charge.
The expansion reflects growing demand among European fleet operators for integrated charging solutions that cover all relevant use cases. Company car drivers in Switzerland and Italy can now conveniently charge at home, including through existing compatible hardware integrated into the DKV Mobility system. At company sites, @work depot solutions enable charging for both passenger cars and electric commercial vehicles. Billing is fully automated across all user groups, including employees, business partners, and guests. In Germany, Austria, France, and the Benelux countries, the @home and @work solutions are already available. The expansion to Switzerland and Italy is part of DKV Mobility's ongoing effort to grow its e-mobility portfolio, with further markets to follow.
Sven Mehringer, Managing Director at DKV Mobility responsible for Energy & Vehicle Services, says: “What matters to our customers is that charging works wherever their vehicles are – on the road, at home, or at the workplace. By bringing @home and @work to Switzerland and Italy, we are closing an important gap in these markets and offering fleet operators a fully comprehensive charging solution from a single source. This is a consistent step forward in our e-mobility growth strategy.”
Where new charging infrastructure is required, DKV Mobility works with local partners such as BKW Energie AG in Switzerland. These partners support companies throughout the entire process, from selecting the appropriate solution to installation and system integration.
Through the DKV Card +Charge and the DKV Mobility app, users gain access to one of the largest charging networks in Europe. The portfolio is further complemented by a wide range of additional services, such as DKV Smart Charging for intelligent load management and DKV Depot Charging for high-performance DC charging solutions for electric trucks and commercial vehicles. All electricity supplied by DKV Mobility is certified to RE100 standards and sourced entirely from renewable energy.
