DKV Mobility, a leading platform for international mobility services, has appointed Nicole Mommsen (51) as Vice President Communications & Public Affairs as part of its growth ambition, effective June 1, 2026. With her experience in change management and campaign leadership, Nicole Mommsen will, as a member of the Executive Committee, help drive the transformation of the leading provider of fuel and service cards into an integrated mobility and energy platform from a communications perspective. She joins from Deutsche Bahn AG, where she has led the Communications and Marketing function until September 2025.
“We have set ourselves ambitious goals for the years ahead: together with our new leadership team and 2,800 dedicated colleagues, we want to build on DKV Mobility’s success story and help our European customers in the passenger car fleet market and the commercial vehicle sector navigate their transition to a digital and sustainable future. We are delighted to have won Nicole Mommsen for our team – her change management experience and long-standing expertise in strategic communications are exactly what we need,” said Sebastian Klauke, CEO of DKV Mobility.
“DKV Mobility is a classic international success story with German roots, and I’m genuinely excited about shaping its transformation in a highly dynamic environment alongside a motivated team. Our shared goal is to further strengthen stakeholder trust in DKV Mobility as a long-established European brand and in its growth strategy,” said Nicole Mommsen.
With the appointments of Sebastian Klauke as CEO, Vibeke Bak Solok as CFO, and Jesper Erichsen as Chief Technology and Chief Operating Officer, DKV Mobility reorganized its leadership team last year to drive an ambitious growth strategy with new digital platform offerings. Åsa Lautenberg was named Chief Human Resources Officer in July; Katrin Voss joined the team in November as Chief Digital Product Officer.
With approximately 430,000 active customers and operations in more than 50 countries across Europe, DKV Mobility is today the leading B2B platform for on-the-road payments and solutions. The DKV Mobility network currently comprises 74,000 conventional fuel stations, 1.1 million EV charge points, and 25,000 alternative fuel stations. The company also provides customers with toll solutions, financial services, vehicle services, a wide range of digital fleet management tools, and data analytics to support sustainability and efficiency targets.
Nicole Mommsen began her career as a financial journalist at Bloomberg, followed by roles in financial and strategic communications at DHL Group, Brunswick, Merck, and Goldman Sachs. Most recently, she led communications supporting Volkswagen’s shift toward e-mobility and digitalization, and played a key role in driving Deutsche Bahn’s restructuring program across infrastructure, operations, and economic efficiency.
