Efficient transport: DKV Mobility launches new transport management software

DKV Mobility, the leading B2B platform for on-the-road payments and solutions, has launched a new Transport Management Software to further enhance its digital offering. The DKV TMS enables companies to centrally manage transport orders, track routes in real time, and optimize the use of resources such as vehicles, drivers, and trailers. Fully integrated into the DKV Cockpit and DKV app, the company’s digital customer portal, the software provides seamless control over all key logistics processes, from order planning and driver communication to invoicing. Also, no additional IT infrastructure or installation is required. The DKV TMS is now available to all customers as an optional upgrade and can be used independently of the DKV Card.
Markus Präßl, Managing Director at DKV Mobility responsible for Sales & Customer Success, explains: “With DKV TMS, we’re taking a focused step forward in digitally transforming our services. Our aim is to help customers make their transport and logistics operations more efficient and future-ready – all without the need for additional IT infrastructure. The seamless integration into our customer portal is another step toward a fully digital ecosystem.”
Key features include route and resource planning, digital document management, and automated cost control. With integrated real-time tracking, dispatchers always have full visibility of ongoing routes and can respond quickly to delays. Communication with drivers is handled directly via the DKV Mobility App, ensuring status updates and feedback are seamlessly integrated into the dispatch process.
Sven Bartel, Director Digital Portal & Solutions at DKV Mobility, adds: "Many TMS solutions are overloaded with features that rarely get used, especially by small and medium-sized businesses – making them complex and expensive to operate. We’ve deliberately kept things simple: DKV TMS is fully embedded in the familiar customer portal and app and focuses on the core functionalities that matter most in day-to-day operations."
With the launch of DKV TMS, DKV Mobility continues its strategy of expanding a data-driven digital product portfolio. The goal is to support and inspire fleet and transport companies with user-friendly digital solutions tailored to their needs – especially in light of rising operating costs and increasingly complex regulatory requirements. Following the DKV Carbon Monitor for reliable fleet emissions reporting and the DKV Fleet Management Software (DKV FMS), the new DKV TMS is already the third digital product introduced by the company this year.
