Toll settlement: DKV BOX ITALIA approved for Italian motorways

After a successful pilot phase, the Italian motorway operators have given their approval for the DKV BOX ITALIA to be used for toll settlement on Italian motorways for trucks and buses > 3.5 t. The DKV toll solution is ready for use and can already be ordered.

"Thus, we can meet the needs of nationally driving hauliers. The DKV BOX ITALIA is based on technology and hardware by Norwegian technology provider NORBIT who has been a very reliable and professional partner we are really looking forward to work with”. Specially marked toll lanes indicate to the driver on which lane the DKV BOX ITALIA can be used. In the near future, the interoperable DKV BOX EUROPE – which is currently going through the pilot phase – is also expected to be approved for Italy, thus covering 11 tolling systems.
