FAQ Uniform pricing

Uniform price

The Uniform price refers to a pricing model in which DKV Mobility charges a standard price for the majority of charging operators. The DKV Uniform price distinguishes between alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) and is divided into up to four different price categories: Low, Standard, High and Individual.

Country-specific uniform price apply at all charging stations with DKV acceptance in Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Italy.

Users can always find the latest prices in the DKV Mobility app.

As a DKV Mobility customer, you can use the DKV Analytics tool in the DKV Cockpit to monitor your costs. Here you can view loading details and their costs as well as all DKV Mobility transactions and manage your fleet efficiently.

Customers benefit from the DKV uniform pricing thanks to a transparent price structure that makes it easier for them to budget and plan costs. They can also save costs by choosing their charging provider. The DKV Mobility app supports them with price displays and the brand filter.

DKV Mobility calculates the up to four price categories (low, standard, high and individual), which take into account the current market conditions, based on the average roaming prices of the charging operators.

DKV Mobility does not charge any hidden costs or fees. The current service fee list applies in combination with the prices communicated in the DKV Mobility app.

Depending on the previous charging behavior of each customer, it is possible that the changeover may lead to price increases or decreases; a general statement is not possible.

DKV Mobility will continuously review and adjust the unit price to ensure that it remains fair and competitive.

kWh price

The kWh price is the price per kilowatt hour (kWh) of electricity used to charge an electric vehicle at a charging station.

In some countries there are special regulations for taxes and fees for charging e-vehicles; the prices quoted by DKV Mobility are therefore already inclusive of electricity tax and charges; exclusive of VAT.

Fair-use fee

A fair use charge is a per-minute charge that is incurred after a certain connection time has expired.

To prevent a charging point from being blocked by an electric car for an unnecessarily long time, making it difficult for other drivers to charge, we - like many charging point operators - charge a fair-use fee.

This fee is intended to ensure fairness at the charging point and - especially in city centers - improve the availability of charging points for all electric car drivers. To avoid unnecessary costs, we recommend raising awareness among company car drivers.

With the DKV Mobility app, you can keep track of your current charging process and check whether a fair-use fee is already due.
