NGO Card +Charge

In 2021, it was time: With the introduction of our service card NGO Card +Charge in Germany, we have created a product with our expertise that supports non-profit organizations (NGOs) in their social commitment and aims to help the everyday heroes to remain sustainably mobile in fulfilling their mission.

The first NGO to receive our service card NGO Card +Charge was ‘interaktiv gGmbH’ from Ratingen (GER). The organization’s goal: to offer young people a high-quality opportunity to shape their school life and leisure time. A great project, because it quickly became clear to us that we wanted to support this goal.

With the provision of our NGO Card +Charge, we have designed a subsidized fuel card product that does not charge card or service fees. Moreover, it provides access to the entire network of gas stations and EV charging points of DKV Mobility, so that NGOs can be mobile all over Europe

Furthermore, for every kilometer driven, we pay a climate protection contribution, thereby supporting climate protection projects with the Gold Standard.

We are aware that successful entrepreneurship and social responsibility go hand in hand and are inseparably linked. Therefore, social commitment has always been part of our self-understanding. We want to provide responsible support to create social added value and give something back to society.

With the NGO Card +Charge service card, we want to say thank you to all the social organizations, initiatives, and non-profit GmbHs in Germany. They all make a significant contribution to our society and form the foundation for successful coexistence. While NGOs make their services available to the general public, we want to be active by using our material, personnel, and financial resources to help those who help society.

After the offer was expanded to the French market in 2022, the service card is now also available in the Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, and Slovakia.3. By the end of 2023, about 1,750 NGO cards were provided to more than 180 nonprofit organizations. We always pursue our key target of providing around 3,000 NGO Cards +Charge for NGOs by 2025.

We will continue to do everything we can to relieve NGOs with our products in their work and to support them, to ensure that our everyday heroes can fully focus on their projects.
