What you can expect

Delivery Sales has as its main focus the processing of orders from the various channels such as webshop and telesales orders as well as the registration and onboarding of new customers. The core tasks of this department, which consists of applicants, orders and office support, is the same-day processing of incoming orders.

As Teamlead Delivery Sales, you will be responsible for the department where all new customers are onboarded, where customer orders and returns are handled and where all incoming phone and mail is processed. Under your leadership, your team aims to give our customers same-day delivery experience wherever possible. In addition, your team provides proactive support during the onboarding phase of our new customers. To achieve this, you will work closely with your colleagues from all sales channels.

Delivery Sales is a KPI-driven department where, as team leader, as a team leader, are expected to work closely with your team. On the one hand, you ensure the availability of your team members and on the other hand, you also have to monitor customer satisfaction. As team leader, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the DKV processes and the services provided by our consultants. You will do this together with your direct colleagues and the Customer Service Manager.

The tasks and responsibilities below are part of your job:

  • You work closely with the team leads of the Sales teams in the Benelux. Together, you ensure the best service through excellent cooperation between the various teams.
  • You know what is going on in your team. You are able to recognise the talents in your team, you can motivate your team and you create a good atmosphere.
  • You are good with dashboards and like to encourage your team to reach the KPIs.
  • You have knowledge and experience of process optimisation topics or are willing to develop this.
  • You put the customer first and strive for the highest possible output every day.
  • After reading this position, you are already thinking about which processes and collaborations you want to enter into to improve the customer journey.

What makes you stand out

  • You gained at least 5 years of experience in a similar sales position, preferably in an international company.
  • You work at least 4 days a week in Noordwijkerhout.
  • You are customer-focused and service-oriented.
  • You are a true People manager, know how to motivate your team and steer on the KPIs to be achieved.
  • You have strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • You are stress resistant.
  • Your Dutch and English skills are excellent and working with different IT-tools is a standard for you.
